Lancom Technology nabs top New Zealand's Best Workplaces ranking

Being recognised as a finalist and named on the 2026 Best Workplaces New Zealand list reflects a belief that business success starts with investing in people, says CEO Priscila Bernardes. “This recognition follows our Great Place to Work Certification earlier in 2026 and places Lancom Technology alongside some of New Zealand's most respected employers,” she notes.

Lancom Technology is ranked 5th in the Small Business Category, just behind technology vendor Cisco Systems at 4th. The category is led by Realestate.co.nz.

Administered by Great Place to Work, the Best Workplaces programme is an authority on workplace culture with certification and workplace rankings based on direct employee feedback. The programme measures levels of trust, pride, inclusion, leadership effectiveness and team experience.

Bernardes says employee participation in the certification process resulted in a strong culture benchmark. “We’re particularly proud of an overall Trust Index score of 90%, with high results across fairness, inclusion, leadership alignment and collaboration.”

She says the company culture is built around learning, curiosity and opportunity.

“Our values are the cornerstone of our approach to culture. Continuous learning, being curious and remaining humbly confident are principles we seek to live every day. While we've always believed Lancom is a destination for growth, external validation from our own people is particularly meaningful.”

Lancom's partnership with Great Place to Work is driven by a desire to understand the employee experience and benchmark it against global standards.

The partnership also supports a wider business strategy focused on attracting, developing and retaining high-performing talent in a highly competitive technology market, Bernardes adds.

Notable, Great Place to Work New Zealand identified technology as the largest industry represented on the list, with Lancom taking its place among multiple digital and technology organisations. “It’s great to observe the tech industry’s interest in creating appealing workspaces and looking to humanise our work,” notes Bernardes.
