Lancom Technology appoints Head of People & Culture/Integrator Jenna Langdon

Continuing its growth trajectory despite challenging market conditions, managed services and cloud infrastructure provider Lancom Technology has appointed high-profile Head of People & Culture/Integrator Jenna Langdon. Langdon is expected to further shape and strengthen the company’s talent-centric culture while contributing to strategic direction as Lancom continues its expansion drive in the New Zealand, Australian and United States markets. 

CEO Priscila Bernardes welcomes Langdon to the role. “More than a reflection of who we are, culture is the engine that drives our success. Jenna’s appointment marks a fundamental step forward in our journey to build a high-trust, high-performance environment where our team feels empowered, valued, and connected to our purpose.” 

Bernardes adds that Lancom Technology has organically developed a distinct culture known as the ‘Lancom Way’ over the course of 37 years. “Jenna’s role is central to further embedding our values, elevating leadership capability, and ensuring our people strategies are aligned with our vision for growth, innovation, and impact that drives success for our customers.” 

Langdon’s varied career includes international experience in the United Kingdom in several senior roles, and more latterly a six-year stint with household name Trade Me where she headed Human Resources. “With a technology background, I was intrigued by Lancom Technology and impressed with the strong female leadership. The company’s core values of continuous learning, curiosity and talent resonated.” 

Langdon says she is energized in exploring an integrated People and Culture role and will be looking closely at core projects and customers while contributing to further shaping Lancom’s purpose and value delivery. “We have got great foundations in place, particularly around continuous learning and the Lancom Academy [an internal self-skilling platform]. This is a company already living its values and demonstrating its purpose through daily activities.” 

The People and Culture function, Langdon continues, plays a role in growing capability to meet market demand. “We’re delivering the solutions and skills that our customers require. And at the same time, we’re an organization of people who others enjoy working with. That’s very often the key differentiator between one provider and another.” 

A successful culture, she adds, is driven by sound leadership, and prepared to take on the difficult issues while keeping everyone inspired and safe. “The biggest deciding factor is probably the answer to the question ‘would you recommend others work here?’. When the answer is a resounding ‘yes’, your culture is a winner.”  

Outside of work, Langdon is a busy mum to two girls, sits on a school board, and a self-confessed DIY-nut. “I’ve got a farming and building background,” she shares – which is why she’s happiest in a Bunnings aisle or knocking together the next reno project at home. 

Bernardes says Langdon’s appointment comes at a time when Lancom Technology is scaling. “As we step up our national and international growth, there’s a necessity to scale culture along with operations, and Jenna will play a key role in supporting that aspect of our expansion. I’m excited to welcome a leader who will champion inclusion, drive engagement, and position culture as a true business enabler.”
