Lancom Technology Launches Generative AI Services
Written by Lancom Technology, September 2025
With the AI charge well underway, expectations are that upwards of 90% of startups will fail. This, says Lancom Technology CEO Priscila Bernardes, is why caution is the watchword as the company launches its own generative AI services designed to help A/NZ companies harness the technology at scale while reducing the risk of the missteps of those startups.
“We’re in an interesting period right now where AI is both a non-negotiable and yet presents substantial risk. There’s a reason those startups are giving it a go, and a reason why most won’t make it. And that reason is, quite simply, the disconnect between what AI is capable of doing, and what AI should be doing.”
She notes that right now, most organizations are engaging in widespread AI use whether they know it or not. “That’s because these tools are typically available as freemium services and used by individuals supporting their personal productivity. Whether, or how that translates into corporate productivity is murkier by far.”
While accessibility lowers barriers to acceptance and reduces change management overheads – Bernardes has compared the emergence of AI to the consumerization of IT trend - it gives rise to bigger problems. “Specifically, those problems include governance, inconsistent outcomes from AI tools, and a potentially staggering rise in shadow IT.”
Bernardes says Lancom Technology has launched services demystifying AI at scale, introducing rigour, and providing guidelines and support in the creation of companywide services aligned with organizational priorities.
“We take an ontology-driven approach structuring data to deliver consistent insights and practical AI-powered tools,” she explains.
“Our solutions equip leaders and companies to apply AI to eliminate repetitive busy-work, enhance decision-making, and unlock transformative opportunities, while managing the practical risks of applying emerging technology.”
Lancom Technology’s recently published whitepaper (available for free download) shows that led by AI executives achieve 1.5 times the growth of their peers. That advantage is achieved with AI accelerating routine tasks like software testing by up to 75%, with 58% of executives reporting revenue increases.
The company’s AI solutions designed to move from concept to value include:
- Executive AI Strategy Managed Service: A structured program that builds enterprise-wide AI capabilities. This service delivers company ontology, strategic vision, governance framework, and prototype planning to ensure sustainable AI adoption.
- AI Strategy Intensive Workshop: A one-day, executive-focused session covering AI essentials, including strategic vision, governance, and prototype planning. Facilitated by senior AI strategy consultants, this workshop delivers immediate clarity and actionable frameworks.
- AI Prototype Development: Bridging strategy and implementation, this service delivers functional AI prototypes to unlock immediate value. Leveraging Microsoft and AWS AI innovations, Lancom helps businesses build confidence and technical foundations for scalable AI solutions.
Bernardes says it is no coincidence that Lancom Technology’s initial generative AI offerings are consulting and prototyping engagements. “Through customer conversations and a series of roundtables where we have invited perceptions from multiple industries, it is clear that AI is on the agenda, often by stealth. With our new services, we’re putting it front and centre. And moving our clients towards strategic action delivering lasting value.”
