Aimee Lin joins Lancom Technology as CTO

Lancom Technology is delighted to welcome Aimee Lin on board as Chief Technology Officer, rounding out the company’s Senior Leadership Team with big hitting innovation talent. Aimee is a co‑founder and former Chief Product Officer of DataMasque, bringing deep experience across product, security, and cloud platforms. Her appointment is immediate.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Aimee on board,” confirms Priscila Bernardes, Lancom Technology CEO. “She is a big achiever, having founded, grown and exited an independent software vendor, in addition to a Managed Services background. Aimee’s experience spanning both the AWS and Microsoft ecosystems enables us to continue lifting our game serving organisations choosing to partner with Lancom.”

The newly created role of CTO reflects Lancom Technology’s growth, increased focus on mid-market delivery, and geographic expansion across New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

As CTO, Lin’s responsibilities include combining technical innovation with business strategy and operational excellence. Drawing from previous experience, Lin will concentrate on further developing Lancom’s Professional Services, Software Development, AI and security practices.

Lin has infectious enthusiasm for all things technical and – crucially- a keen eye on customer requirements. She’s an innovator: “DataMasque came about when I was Head of Data at a managed services provider consultancy. We had to provide data virtualization capabilities as part of an RFP, and the only solution we could find was clunky and expensive. So, we decided to create our own.”

As a result, Lin gained experience in product development while working with at‑scale Managed Services Providers and Systems Integrators, supporting customers at different stages of their on‑premises‑to‑cloud journeys, alongside close collaboration with AWS and Microsoft global teams.

These experiences are invaluable to Lancom Technology and its clients, Bernardes notes. “We’re known as top Microsoft and AWS cloud solutions provider, we have a substantial Managed Services Provider business, and software development capability. Aimee has experience across every one of our business units and competencies, so we’re looking forward to maturing our capabilities under her technical leadership.”

Bernardes adds that security is another area where Lin brings depth, with experience spanning infrastructure, development, and data, supported by governance frameworks such as ISO 27001 - a certification Lancom itself holds.

Lin brings a sharp customer lens to her role. “Customer feedback is everything - understanding what customers need and delivering beyond i drives success. We work in close partnership with customers, learning and growing together as their needs evolve,” she says.

Lin says reconnecting with Bernardes confirmed a strong alignment in vision and values. “It’s exciting to join a business with deep technical talent, a genuine commitment to customers, and a strong sense of mutual respect and support. By working closely with customers and building on Lancom’s strong foundations, we can continue to refine how we deliver and scale the business into its next phase of growth.”

Bernardes welcomes Lin on board. “Growth remains firmly on the agenda, and with the executive talent we now offer, we’re looking forward to creating and delivering value for our clients across New Zealand, Australia, and further afield.”
